STATEMENT OF FAITH - WE BELIEVE:
1. THE INFALLIBITY OF THE SCRIPTURES: That the Scriptures are the inspired Word of God and the authoritative rule of faith
and conduct. We believe in preaching the whole counsel of God with a balanced
approach (2 Timothy 3:15- 17; 1 Thessalonians
2:13; 2 Peter 1:21)
2.
THE HOLY TRINITY: That there is one true God who
has revealed Himself as the eternally existent “I AM” in three persons: God
the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; Deuteronomy 6:
4)
3. THE DEITY OF CHRIST: In the deity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, in
His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew
1:23),in His sinless life (Hebrews 7:26), in His miracles (Acts 2:22), in His vicarious and atoning death
on the Cross (1 Corinthians 15:3), in His bodily resurrection (Matthew 28:6), in His ascension to the
right hand of the Father (Ephesians
1:20), in His personal, future return to the earth in power and glory to rule
for a thousand years (Revelation 20:4)
4. THE ATONEMENT: Man’s only means of atonement is through the shed
blood of The Lord Jesus Christ on the
Cross (Leviticus 7:11; Isaiah 53:5;
1 Peter 3:18)
5. THE RAPTURE: In the Blessed Hope, the rapture of the
Church at Christ’s Coming (1 Thessalonians 4:14
-17)
6. THE IMMUTABILITY OF GOD: God has never changed, and Jesus Christ is
the same yesterday, today and forever.
Therefore the days of miracles and gifts of prophesy have not yet passed.
(Hebrews 13:8; Malachi 4:6)
7. REGENERATION: We must be born again by the Holy Spirit
to see and enter the Kingdom
of God (John 3:3-5). Regeneration
by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential
to personal salvation. (Romans 6:3-23; 2 Thessalonians 2:13-14)
8.
WATER BAPTISM BY IMMERSION: We must be baptized by immersion in water as a sign of our identification with the death
and resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 6:1-11; Matt 3:21;
Acts 10: 46; Acts 19:1-6)
9. BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
AND THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT: That born again believers must be willing
to seek the baptism and the infilling of the Holy
Spirit (Luke 11:1-13). This experience is distinct and subsequent to
the experience of the new birth (Acts 8:12–17,
2:2-4, 19:2-6, 10:44-46, 11:14) With it comes power from God to live a holy
life and power for service and the bestowment of gifts to be used in the work
of the ministry (Acts 1:4, 8; Luke 24:49; 1 Corinthians 12:1-31; Ephesians
4:11). Believers must live by God The Holy Spirit’s
power, know The Holy Spirit intimately, fellowship with Him, keep
in step with Him and yield to Him to exalt Our Lord Jesus Christ
in all areas of life (Galatians 5:25)
10. DIVINE HEALING, MIRACLES, SIGNS AND WONDERS:
In Divine healing of the spirit, soul and body (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24).
Deliverance from sickness, satanic oppressions
and bondages is provided freely in the atonement and is available for all
who need it and ask for it from the Lord Jesus Christ in faith and humility. (Isaiah 53:4-6, 61:1-11; Daniel 3:24-25; Matthew
8:16-17; Acts 10:38; John 10:9-10; James
5:14-16; 1 John 3:8)
11. CONFIRMATION OF THE WORD WITH
POWER, AUTHORITY, SIGNS, WONDERS
AND MIRACLES: That the preaching of the Word of God must be
confirmed by signs, wonders and miracles in the same manner as Our
Lord Jesus Christ, the prophets, and the Apostles (Exodus
34:10; Isaiah 61:1-11; Luke 4:14,18-19;
Matthew 10:7- 8; Mark 16:15-20; Acts 2:22, 2:43, 4:30-33, 6:8, 8:6-8, 14:3; Romans 15:18-19; 1 Corinthians 1:17-18,
2:4-5; 1 Thessalonians 1:5)
12. THE FINAL JUDGMENT: In
the resurrection and final judgment of the saved and the lost, one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation
(Hebrews 9:27- 28). In the
new heaven and new earth and the Holy Jerusalem, the City of God, descending out of heaven and filled with
the Glory of God (Revelation 21:1- 4,10-11)
